Jackets

A jacket is generally lighter, and less insulating than a coat. A jacket is worn indoors a an additional item of clothing whereas a coat is outerwear. Some jackets are fashionable, while others serve as protective clothing.

Jacket Style +

  • Bolero (6)
    A straight, unfitted waist length collarless women’s jacket usually with an open front.

  • Bomber (10)
    A waist length jacket that closes. The hem and cuffs are ribbed or gathered. Also known as flight jacket.

    Sleeveless, falling loosely from the shoulders draping over the back and connecting at the neck.
